About SunRight Solar

We are not the cheapest option. We are the option for homeowners who want a system that performs well for 25 years, installed properly the first time, by people who will still be here to support it.

Why SunRight Solar Exists

The residential solar industry in Australia has a quality problem. Too many homeowners are sold systems based on the lowest price, installed by the fastest crew, using the cheapest components available. The result is systems that underperform, components that fail before their warranty expires, and customers who have no one to call when something goes wrong.

SunRight Solar was founded to offer a different experience. We believe Australian homeowners deserve solar systems built from quality components, installed to a high standard, and supported by a company that treats after-sale service as a core part of the business, not an afterthought.

What We Believe

Education before sales.

We publish detailed buying guides, specification comparisons, and pricing information because we believe informed customers make better decisions. Every page on our website exists to help you understand what you are buying, not to pressure you into buying it.

Transparency over marketing.

We explain what our products cost, what is included in the price, and what the government rebates cover. We tell you which brands we stock and why. We also tell you about brands we do not stock, because we would rather you make the right decision than just buy from us.

Quality over volume.

We do not compete on price alone. We compete on the quality of the products we install, the standard of the installation work, and the support we provide after the system is on your roof. We would rather install fewer systems at a higher standard than more systems at a lower one.

Long-term thinking.

A solar system is a 25-year asset. A battery is a 10 to 15-year asset. Every decision we make — which products to stock, which installers to partner with, how we design systems — is based on what will serve the homeowner best over the full life of the system, not what looks cheapest on a quote.

How We Choose Our Products

We do not stock every solar panel, inverter, or battery available in Australia. We select a focused range of products that meet our standards for performance, warranty, reliability, and Australian support.

Solar panels, inverters and home batteries of the kind SunRight Solar installs, arranged in front of a solar-powered home

Solar panels. We install panels from Jinko Solar, Trina Solar, and JA Solar. All three are Tier 1 manufacturers using current N-type TOPCon cell technology, with 25-year product warranties, strong performance warranties, and established Australian warranty support. We chose these brands because they offer the best combination of quality, value, and local service infrastructure for residential installations.

Inverters. We install inverters from Fronius, Enphase, Sungrow, GoodWe, SMA, and Solis. Our range includes string inverters, hybrid inverters, and microinverters so we can match the right inverter type to each home's requirements.

Batteries. We install batteries from Sungrow, Sigenergy, FoxESS, and Growatt. All use LFP chemistry, offer modular expansion, and have reliable Australian warranty infrastructure.

Every product we install is from the CEC-approved product list, which is a requirement for the system to be eligible for the federal solar and battery rebates.

Our Installation Standards

The four stages of a SunRight Solar installation: site assessment, system design, installation, and commissioning and handover

Our installation process includes:

  1. Site assessment. Before any quote is finalised, we assess your roof, your switchboard, your meter, and your electrical infrastructure. We identify any additional work required (such as a switchboard upgrade) and include it as a separate line item, not a hidden cost after the fact.

  2. System design. We design your system based on your roof orientation, shading, energy usage, and future plans (such as adding a battery or EV charger). The design includes panel placement, inverter selection, and expected output.

  3. Installation. We use commercial-grade mounting hardware, follow manufacturer torque specifications, and run neat cable management. Panels are installed in the orientation and configuration specified in the design, not wherever is fastest.

  4. Commissioning and handover. After installation, we commission the system, set up monitoring, and walk you through how everything works. You will know how to check your system is performing, how to read the monitoring data, and who to contact if you have questions.

After the Installation

A solar system is a long-term investment, and SunRight Solar's relationship with you does not end on installation day.

Monitoring. Your system includes monitoring so you can see how much energy you are generating, how much you are consuming, and how much you are exporting. If something is not performing as expected, monitoring helps us identify the issue quickly.

Warranty support. If a component fails under warranty, SunRight Solar manages the warranty claim on your behalf. We liaise with the manufacturer, arrange the replacement, and coordinate the service visit. You do not need to deal with the manufacturer directly.

Ongoing support. If you have questions about your system, want to add a battery, or need advice on optimising your energy usage, our support team is available. We do not disappear after the installation.
